What I'm suggesting is after about 4 weeks from the start of flowering when buds start to form, one starts to add more day than night period. For example from 12day/12night, one adds an half-hour per day until one reaches, oh let's say, 17/5. The real question is if the plant will revert back into vegging if given more light periods gradually?
The only reason the plant forms buds is because the plant thinks its going to die and before it dies It wants to reproduce. And this is only done at 12/12, but some people do go 18/6 during flowering but only for 2 days then back to 12/12. I wouldn't do it more then 4 days through. Good LuCk
