well christianity is based on the Egyptians Sun Worshipping, like most ppl think Jesus was born on the 25th Of December - but he wasnt he was born in March (according to the bible) they used this date because it was already a religious day and they didnt want to mess ups ppl calenders basicly, so they just converted the old religous Egyiptian holiday and "re-packaged" it for christianity
