However...they would be more suited as mother plants then fruiting plants.

If you are not flowering with a HPS light, most of the bud growth is going to be shaded by all that healthy bushy growth.

You need to explose as many bud sites as you can to direct light. Now is the time to remove any small branches from the lower sections, and try to tie the plant down, so it's a little more open to the light!

I do not condone removing any material unless it blocks bud production, so dont go overboard if you remove anything.
