On that we disagree, Studds & Frank did not "do the right thing" and resign and were "accepted", by the democrats and the media.

Foley resigned as soon as it became public because he knew the Republicans and the media wouldn't (and rightfully so) give him a pass.

I'm not defending Foley, again I think he should be prosecuted, but there is a political double standard in this country. Republicans are held to a higher standard, it's not fair but it's good for the country and good for the party.

If Bill Clinton had been a "pro-life Republican" Al Gore would have been President before the 2000 election.
