Try car wax. Nothing new and fancy with beads or anything. just regular green turtle car wax. I've had ok results with it. This is exaclty why I got a chip and only play my backups in the PS2. Another backup can me made from the original in a few mins.

TRY STICKING IT IN THE FREEZER OVERNIGHT. THIS HAS WORKED ON A FEW OF MY SLIGHLY FUCKED CDS. OTHERWISE TRY VASELINE SMEARED OVER THE AFFECTED AREA THEN WIPE OF WTH APPROPRIATE CLOTH. OVER

This WILL sound like a joke but it has worked for me befor (a time or 2) put it in the toilet with the "picture part" facing up and flush. I swear it works.

In the end I bought a DiscDr for £30 which was quite expensive. It repaired the damaged disk in minutes and I was then able to copy it and give the owner an unscratched disc in return. I've had it over a year and only used it around 6 times, but if you know people who have scratched discs u can provide a service and make ur money back as companies do..

Link to almost similar product by same manufacturer

I have one of those. For some people they work like a dream. For other people like me, it trashes everything put in it.

That's what I thoght was happening to mine (also not cum), but I think it's something with the gears in it. It'll run fine, but every now and then a gear slips or something and it drags funny. After I've done a whole disk, about 3/4 of it is clear, but the last quarter of the surface looks like it was run over by a dump truck draggin metal pipes.
