It's the same as Gold Member, they just changed the name so we can use it here and on the Marihemp boards. Come join us! Lulu and I are the only chicks! And you can PM hunny on there because Cafe Members can PM mods, too, and make posts for the mods to see (other members can't see them unless they're Cafe Members). I personally like the PM idea cuz you can keep in touch without using email.

Roughly 5000 people use this site every day for free!

But, running a site like cannabis.com takes alot of time and it costs money, too..

So understandably, Ron needs funds to keep this site active..

Sure, he probably gets money from advertising etc, but I doubt it's enough to pay for the domain registration, the script, hosting fees, etc..

So, instead of using this site regularly for free, Ron is asking you to pay a small fee of $20. In return you get almost a 'upgraded membership' - you can PM (private message) other users, PM mods, there's a seperate forum for upgraded members only, and other features such as the ability to make a thread that only mods can see. Also, upgraded members (Cafe Members) can now use those features on the Marihemp Message Boards

"Why can't we do that anyway?".. well, because it's not up to you what we can and can't do on this site.. And, he's decided that those features are for 'Cafe Members' only.

If you don't think those features are worth $20, then why don't you consider it a donation? Surely $20 is pittance to pay for activism, the great job Ron and the other mods do, and the service this site provides?
