digital timer woes

Well, how do you have it set as one event? Does it give you the option to put the ON and the OFF time into one event? It's hard to say without having it in my hand...but I'd say try the separate events thing. If you tell me what model it is, MAYBE I can find the manual on the web and read it and tell you what you might be doing wrong.

Yes, each event has its own on/off time. I haven't been able to find a model number, but it is commonly referred to as the "Eco Plus Dual Digital Plug-In Timer" (15 amps) . Been hunting for a pdf manual or any supplemental literature, no luck so far. I'll keep looking, I appreciate your help.

They have no problem switching the outlet "ON", but when it comes to the off cycle they do not shut off! I know it is not a defect, since all 3 of the timers are having the same issue. I set the timer to "auto" mode (auto/on/off are the options) , and let it do its thing. Has no problem turning the lights on, but just ignores the off time.
