    What's Your Favourite Soil Mixture?

I've been using Miracle Grow due to it's availability and my limited knowledge on horticulture. They come premixed with nutrients. But after hearing bad things about it here, I've decided on a quest to find a simple mixture that will be more suited for growing. What is everyone's take on this? Which is the mixture you use and recommend??

    Thank-you!

Equal parts or thereabouts of coco coir, perlite, and wormcastings. Then mix in whatever else you want in smaller amounts, like trace minerals, guano.

    What's Your Favourite Soil Mixture?

    40%PLAIN POTTING SOIL
    20%PERLITE
    10%WORM CASTINGS (If avalible)
    20%PETE MOSS
    10%HYDRO PEBBLES

Drainage is the key in a mix try useing some rocks around the bottem of your pot.then put your choice of mix on top. This ensures good drainage. You cant use premix nute soil or even just soil because it holds and contains to much nutes or the wrong ones you need at the time.So a nute less mix with some worm castings is great because you can controll your n-p-k and ph much easier. Also by getting more oxigen to the roots your baby's are able to obsorb more nutes and give you better results.good luck feel free ask n e other qustions.

seek the truth so keep looking and looking it wont just come SO FIND IT!!

    What's Your Favourite Soil Mixture?

Black Gold organic potting soil. It has perlite and worm castings already in it, but I add about 50% perlite along with it. It is nice and simple for me and most places carry it, well, at least the garden stores carry it, and many other growers use it, it is the cheeper version of Fox Farm soils. I then ad Cal Mag, Liquid Karma GH Florolicias Grow for veg and Bloom for flower and Super thrive for misting and feeding durring veg only. I use a main nute called Grow Juice and Bloom Juice, But I am not sure if it is carried by alot of garden stores, but Cal Mag, Super Thrive and Liquid Karma should be in most garden stores and for me they are a must have.
    Adieu

Something like this, but you can add some topsoil to it too to make it less 'hot' for seedlings:
50% composted cow manure with leaf humus
    50% perlite
Then whatever amendments are appropriate to the growth stage
