i think talking about current events in the real world and trying to impress people by how much you know about weed are two different things. i like talking about the world when im high just as much as i enjoy talking about crazy what if questions. i do agree that people being weed snobs can really take away the fun from smoking with friends though.

It's even worse if someone is into LSD. Being talked through the minutae of an eight hour trip can take up to four times as long as the actual event. Normally this is spread out over the rest of their lives so you get five minutes here and there, or sometimes as much as an hour at a time. The worst combination is an arrest coupled with an LSD trip. You'll never hear the end of that story. Ever.

I find silence is the greatest weapon against common reality bullshit.
Or music.
I hate talking about everyday shit.
I am much more comfortable just passing the bong with some tunes.

I wish most of my buddies appreciate silence as much as I do too.

Silence is good and all, but pot makes me talk a lot more than i normally do. I dunno why, its the opposite with most of my friends, except my best friend. We'll all get baked and me and him will bullshit non stop and everyone else sits on the couch looking looking comatose. But yeah, I completely understand about the weed/wine/beer snobs. I hate that shit.
