i recently observed something that i thought was interesting. Well i am

getting older and more mature, unfortunetly. I am 28 now sucessful ,married

and i have wonderful son. my friends have changed some and all of my peers are growing up.

that's great but i noticed with age some people really get snobbish with there hobby/habit,weed.

I can only describe it as similar to how people act twords wine. i personally will smoke a bowl that has a not been grinded , or smoke a joint that is rolled a little loose. i will also drink a nice pinot noir out of a coffe cup

now i am definetly not the norm for my age group. i met some friends last night and we passed a joint around and shot the shit, it was horrible im trying to forget about all the daily bullshit and get stoned, while their talking about kiefs and the trics and what grow cycle was used fertilizers. those are great subjects to discuss, but the whole conversation seemed to me like it was geered twords trying to confuse everyone, and see who was the real conesuir of ganja. (not a group of friends enjoying each others company)

whatever happened to just talking about some far out dumb shit, like (what do you think would have happened to america if during the cival war a white power racist organization from the future went back in time and gave the confederates automatic weopons.)

i dont know i guess this just happens with age. we all probbably get our own quirks as we mature, i would not call myself a weed snob but i do like to smoke my shit alone... not nececerly by myself but i don't like to share joints and pipes . i have a guest pipe at my house so when my freinds are here i can smoke mine, they can smoke thiers.

so i guess what i am trying to say is the next time your smoking with your freinds remember your doing something that is special, something you chose to do reguardless of the consequences. sitting around drinking wine and talking about the u.n . the price of gas..thats not special at least not to me

I personallly think that some people just don't have anything else going on in thier life to talk about, so they talk about weed all the time. I know the types. I'm 25 myself and I feel where you're comming from. When I smoke weed, I wanna smoke it, not talk about it.

I feel the same way. And I am not saying this to insult anyone or discriminate, but I find it's worse when I smoke with people younger than me. I wouldn't have too much of a problem if I was a grower and having a growing conversation while toking...but not to miss the other shit too. ANd I hate talking about who got how much for whatever amount - let's not see who gets the best deal! Let's smoke the shit and bake!
