Couple quick updates...

-All the Super Skunk have broken dirt. One seems to have run its taproot into a pebble or something and the whole palnt lifted out of the ground. I re-set it but think it's going to die anyway.

-The slowpoke White Rhinos that I moistened like 2 weeks ago... one more popped today! WTF. They are at a good 76-78'F, moist, in the dark... shouldn't be takig this long but I'm thankful at this point to see them germing at all!

-Just started my freebie 'gypsys gum' from seedbay; bubblegum X somango.

-ordered a bunch of sweet tooth and SWT crosses from seedbay lst night.

-Topped a whole bunch of stuff that is technically not supposed to be part of this log, but some of it was the BOG mix and Smashberry, so it's going in here.
Here's what I did:
I've got NO space whatsoever left in my flower room; to the point, I've been reduced to putting 2 plants in one bucket if they lok runty, even though I usually think that is a bad idea!
So anyway, usually I pinch rather than fully top plants with the exception of breeder males. This time, since it's going to be a couple weeks before space opens up anyway, I topped off the terminal 3 nodes plus stem down to the 4th, and put them in my *NEW!!!!* ex-cloner. I hosed the plants down with wilt-pruf then with neem and gave them a drenching at 9AM, and after 12 hours took clones at 9pm. I sprayed them once more wioth wilt-pruf once they were on the cloner. This morning there was no sign of any wilt even though as I've said my humidity is like 35% and I'm not using a dome. I've just got one small CFL on them. Whatever, they should be fine.

What else... oh yeah, a bud shot as promised, with my favorite beverage as comparison. Yay, local microbrews!! Yay, IPA!!!

So the biggest news in my growing misadventures is that I ran out of space entirely and took over the dining room closet for mothers and clones. Who needs table linens anyway!

Here's a pic of the ez cloner that I picked up from the guy who I got the chocolate chunk from. I got it for $100 plus weight of some of my juicy yummy homegrown.

As you can see, a couple of the slips that are in it ARE from budded plants- kind of an experiment to see if I get better results rooting flowering plants with this thing. When I got flowering plants to root in my old wick cloner, they came out really lame and just sort of sat there with no new growth until the damned thrips ate them.

The last 2 pics are
-4 week old plants vegging happily
-another Afghan pic for Bear. Plant porn! Too bad my camera sucks, but the whole plant including the smaller fan leaves looks like it has been dusted with snow. And for all the newbs wondering what plant is hardy and easy to grow, note that this girl has been flowering about 6 weeks and shows NO SIGN of insect damage or deficiencies. That's very unusual in my garden, as I stop treating for insects after 4 weeks flowering.
