    Should I cut these Leaves?

    Hi All

This is a clone that rooted from my female plant. Strain BLUEJAY

Now that is has been moved into Dirt. (Coco) should I cut the bigger leaves? to promote newer growth

or should I leave them untill they die off on their own?

I have the lights on 18/6 I plan to Veg this clone and try and get a couple clones from it. I want to make her a mother.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Kindly

Leave them on, but get them up off the soil surface to prevent rot. I see you've got some hydroton, that will work, just put a bunch of the pebbles right around the plant under the leaves to prop them up. Perlite would work too. Good to see you got a clone going! Congrats.

    Should I cut these Leaves?

I know All those weak ass looking clones rooted actully but they were all male except this one. I also had one more question Stinky.

When I prepared this Coco I added dolomite Lime as Ph Buffer. I added what I ad left. when i tested my water runoff before I put the clone in it My Ph was 6- 6.5 I didn't have enough lime to bring that much coco up to 7Ph

Is this going to be a huge problem for me? If i get some more lime and add it to the top of the Coco, when I water will the lime soak into the coco Or will this not help at all? Or is there a better solution.

    Thanks in advance.

You can just get pH up/down and adjust your water to 6.8, you're already so close that if you just water with good water you'll be okay.

How many weeks was your plant in flowering that you took this clone from? Also, what type of lights are you putting the clone under. As stinky said, get those leafs off the ground. Put mulch, vermaculite, perlite, or any other buffer substance to do so.

    Happy Toking :rasta:

    Should I cut these Leaves?

yeha Im gonna use Hydroton rocks, The plant was one week maybe two into flowering,

It came from a plant outside in the middle of Augest. It may take some time to set it back into Veg eh? The hairs and stuff didn't totally form untill I took the clone and had it under 6500K Twister CFLs.
    Its under 4 27W 6500K Cfls.

    So Just to double check.

I add my nutrients to my water /Botanicare Pure grow/
I feed a little with every watering, Well I did last time and it worked well. Do I add the Ph Up to make that water with nutes 6.8Ph or should I have a schedual 1 2 watering with nutesand 3rd watering with just water and Ph UP?
Cuz the nutrients will make my water go lower.

So I add the Ph up to the water with my nutrients correct? OR no?

And I guess since Im asking about nutrients when Is this little clone ready to take some Pure Grow nutes at 1/8 strength?

or should I wait until I see newer growth?

Or now cuz it came from a mature plant?

wow that turned into alot of questions sorry guys and Gals

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    thanks Kindly

Hold up on the nutes, I'm not sure if you can give such a 'young' clone ferts but personally I'd wait until you see it stretching out new leaves.
So for now just water, at pH 6.8, maybe a drop of superthrive for the roots.

    Cool Thanks...

I was more interested in when the plant gets bigger 5-6 nodes.

DO I want my water with Nutes to be at Ph6.8?

so add the nutes and the buffer to the water i feed my plant regularly?

Thanks in advance and for everything.
