Basic economics.......

Price-fixing for the most part fails. You alter the supply by cutting any profit motivation a grower has, and increase the demand from the decrease in supply. What's the point of paying low prices when you lock out for ex 90% of demand? Unless you are the lucky dude that happened to get those cheap prices, it's a shitty idea.

Face it, people are to various degrees greedy. It's human nature. There has to be some sort of motivation for people who are willing to grow and distribute it.

The best way to lower prices is to increase the scale of production. The main reason why prices are so high is the distribution of weed is in the hands of many growers, who scale of productions aren't significant enough to dent weed prices.

Until growers, and dealers have less harsh laws bestowed upon them, or there is a major economic downturn, don't expect weed prices to decrease.
