Growth Questions

I have grown little plants for novelty before always pulling them up for the risk of getting caught. Needless to say I started another this spring and have let it go till now. Since I have taken the risk/reward of doing this I know its getting to the final stages of the plant. Just have some questions if anyone could help.

Its an outisde plant. I planted it the first week of March. We are at the budding stage now it is still very much sticky and getting real strong. You can smelll it as soon as you walk in the backyard. My questions are


Is it time to pull it up?

I have heard of the hanging process does this need to be done? If so how long does this take?

I plan to post pics soon as I have just found this board.

After reading other posts I have realized I need pics. Will get them tomorrow. So I can show what it looks like.

well the real way is to go to radio shack get a 20x micro scope and look at her trichromes(the crystals on the bud itself) and look at them closely......

Clear- not ready

cloudy- ready to harvest

abmer- starting to degrade

microscope is definatley the way to go I got a 30x one wicked little thing it is I wanted to look at everything. If y cant get one go by the colour of the hairs when about 50% have changed colour (I think its 50% ish but Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong) it should be just about ready. Y dont have t hang it t dry it its just easier that way. Hang it till the stem snaps when y try bend it depending on conditions takes about 2 weeks then into the jar to cure.

i think its 80% red hairs but dont go by what i just said, or u can becuase even if its not right youll still get high

as for the hanging this will refer to drying so harvest the buds like normal and it should take between 7 and 10 days to dry in a ventilated dark place
