Hey guys! :dance: Whats it is? 1st post here wanted to start by showing everyone my current C25 cab grow :thumbsup:! So far they have been growing pretty well, i would expected better but i know where i did wrong and will improve before the next

Currently: 1 month, 6 days old. 10 plants, bagseed

Specs:
Potting soil - Perfect Garden Potting Mix w/ Perilite (from Wal-Mart )
(1) C25 Cab
(1) 9" Oscilating fan
(1) 400w HPS
(6) Cool CFL's (3 fixture turned to a 6 with Y sockets )
and so on..and so on..

They were switched from 20/4 to 12/12 when they hit around 10" and were drastically growing out of those pots you see in the pics (reason why). I flowered early so i could weed out the males and repot the females cause space is limited but i wanted to maximize femality (?)

As of a couple days ago..Notice the droppy leaves and discoloration (under-watered fixed that) Ideas?





You can see the small leaves at the bottom starting to turn, and crinkle.



Here you can kinda see the spots im talking about..

Hmm...maybe it's burnt from the light intensity? How hot is it in there? Whats the temp?

Im trying to keep the light as far away as possible but it does get hot. I gotta leave the door open when im home (no exhaust/intake for this one but gonna be done for the next)

Averages around 74-78 F Humidity around 50%

I was gonna ask about humidity, try to bring it up to like 60%-65%, some where in that range. If you dunno how try sitting a bowl of water in the room to evaporate or spray some water in the room.

Did you have to wire anything up for that CFL fixture or was the main strip allready wired for 3 regular sockets and you split them ? If the main strip was prefabricated, where did you buy it ?

I thought the humidity wanted to be around 40%..i had it at 70% when i was vegging with the CFL's and i thought that was bad. I mist as much as i can, too

The 3 light bath fixture you can buy at Lowes, $10. Get 3 Y sockets and screw em in (around $1.50 each). Unstrip an extension cord and wire the black/white out of the fixture with the cord. Plug and wa-la! :thumbsup:

Ok one more question, (im no electrician) I know the black and white wires that come from the fixture, but how do I match those to the stripped extension cord ? Will it be the same color coding inside the extension cord sheath ?

When you split the ext. cord its gonna have 2 brass wire sets coming outta it. You can see the cord is seperated into 2 cords, molded to one. Connect one set to the white, other to the black. Tada :thumbsup: .

Thanks for your help I thought that the sets of wires inside the ext. cord had to be matched with a certain wire coming from the fixture. Didn't wanna short circuit my house when I try to do this :thumbsup:

hey mate, nice box.

you need some air circulation. Id get a fan and poke some holes. Intake at the bottom, exhaust at the top on the opposite side. you should have a 1.0/1.5 exhuast/intake diameter ratio. passive intake/fan to exhaust. exhaust vent your hps directly. It will help exhaust some hps heat and bring in CO2 and might raise the humidity depending on where the cab is set up. may also need a solution for smell depending on your location. veg with about 60% or so. keep the air a little wet. remember thou, when ya flower, drop the humidity, turn fan down. dont want to rot the buds.
