I just hate all organized religion~ ALL OF IT
The thing is, I'm all for freedom of religion, obviously. I'm Atheist myself, former Roman Catholic/Lutheran/Baptist (Went to a LOT of different churches in my younger years) and the only issue I have with religion is the religious fanatics who are seriously impeding science; causing monumental delays that could save millions of lives. I'm talking stem cell research and all; abortions are another issue that I do not understand- RELIGIOUS OR NOT, MEN, YOU HAVE NEVER HAD A CHILD. You do not know what women go through.
Now I do NOT NOT NOT advocate abortion as a means of birth control AT ALL. Rape, incest, a clear danger to mom and fetus, and financial status are all legitimate reasons for abortion IF A WOMAN CHOOSES TO. But men SHOULD not be against something that has VERY little to do with them.
Creationism should be taught in religion class. Not science, not now, not ever. It is not a heavily researched scientific POV; science is not taught in theology classes, therefore, keep religion IN religion classes ONLY.
If you do not support evolution, then by all means, DO NOT get a flu vaccine, antibiotics, blood transfusions, and a variety of other surgeries- they have been almost perfected thanks to the research of scientists and doctors who firmly believe in evolution. If you believe in something, STICK with it. Don't go back and forth like an idiot. Play your cards.
For those anti-Arab Southern Baptists and other prejudice Christians, you do realize that Jesus was most likely an Arabic-looking man with a shaggy coarse beard, dark skin and dark eyes due to his geographic location and time period? Don't give me that silky brown hair, blue eyes, and pure white Aryan skin he is shown to have in paintings galore.
Your god is supposedly forgiving and blind to color and race, although the Bible is debated to be against homosexuality, TREAT EVERYONE with the same respect that your Jesus taught you. Don't hate, it proves nothing.
Otherwise, I have absolutely no problem with religion whatsoever.
