And one of the saddest things about the system as it stands, is that currently people involved with cashcropping make their profits based upon the illegality of the substance, and decriminalizing it would NOT be in their best interests.
I honestly believe in sharing the green. It's a plant; anyone, anywhere should be able to grow it and give it away freely just like those big baskets of zucchinis that we rural people are plagued with at the end of the summer. Too many to go around!
Cannabis, medical or otherwise, should be sold for little more than the cost of the electricity taken to produce it, and the man-hours involved with tending it.
Just my thoughts.
No violence or criminal behavior around it.
