LOL, you're right, I've heard this one too. Me and my stoned moments it's suprising I still make straight A's in college with a memory sometimes as bad as this.

Yeah, I use various programs for audio editing as well. The one I think I like the most has to be Adobe Audition. An amp would explain those nice, smooth reverb effects as well.

By the way, I saw a really good mic in a music store the other day for about $150. It was a high-quality electric condenser mic with a built-in USB interface. It seemed awesome. I'd recommend it to you if you were looking to get a new mic. Whatever you do though, don't buy a dymanic unidirectional mic for digital recordings no matter what someone tells you. They sound like cheap karaoke lol.

lol yeah i used to have one of those nasty mics when i was practisin with my band still... sounded fuckin awfull... and when i'm back to work i'll be on the lookout for one of those decent mics, maybe get a couple of em so i dont have to spend fuckin ages matchin up the music and vocals lol :thumbsup:

That was a pretty good somg there Wesley. A suggestion though, the guitar playing was good, but maybe for the opening chords of the song, and the first few lines of the first verse, try picking each string seperatly, or, if you can, try using your finger tips to pick each string, like classical style. I think that will give it a nice buildup to the chorus and remaning song. It will start off super mellow and soft, then when the end of the first verse comes, start strumming them chords. You know what I mean?

From one musician to another. Just a suggestion. I just found the strumming of chords the same throughout the song. A little simple diversity can go a long ways.

yeah man, i see what u mean , but i'm not that great at picking, what i do is like... the skeleton of the song, it needs bass, drums, and more importantly, some lead guitar which is why i left alot of the song as just me strummin so a lead guitarist could come in and play around with it... and hey, if ya wanna have a go at puttin some lead stuff on it, be my guest dude, same goes for any drummers and bassists, we could get a can.com band goin here lol

i think its 3 minutes into the song, but right after a chorus, its a bomb spot to have someone do a solo over. i do enjoy the song though. maybe its the mic quality, but some points it sounds like you strum too hard. good voice, but you lose your voice at parts. good song though.
