and yes, I see the signs, though people of every era have seen the signs too. Europeans were convinced the black plague was a sign of the end of times. People across continental asia thought mongolians were demons from hell sent by god. And believe me, the mongolian invasions were far more impressive than the conflicts we have going on today. Now that I think of it, history in the last 2 thousand years is riddled with events far exceeding the scale of world-wide conflict today. The only difference is we now have reporters at every corner of the earth with the technology to show it to us live, as it happens, leaving a considerably larger psychological impact on humanity, whereas before the extent of international troubles were very limited in regards to people's view.

spooky talk in a religious context can be mighty frightening, but humanity has heard it countless times before, with all the self-fulfilling prophecies to match. This only part of why I follow reason above faith.
