I thought i'd let everyone know about the great new addition to this community that is soon to arrive! No.. it's not a baby.
It's a Radio!

That's right CannabisRadio will begin broadcasting 24/7 TokingTunes for everyone's listening pleasure. The stream will use Windows Media Player, and a bitrate of 40kbps. The encorder used will compress 96kbps into 40kbps for faster streaming and Windows Media Player will decompress it into 96kbps making it sounding like CD quality. At this lower bitrate, even people on dial-up will be able to listen, but the load will be considerable on a 56k line.

This is here to stay.
It is an ongoing work in progress.
The bugs will be worked out as we go.. and those of you that have had the pleasure of hearing my shoutcast stream know that we can have a lot of fun.

I will keep everyone updated.. and feedback is more than welcome.

Some things that we can expect with this are growing shows, all kinds of unedited music, contests (eventually ), interviews, comedy shows and live DJing. A request system will be put in place and shoutouts will be just as welcome.
I will be looking for in the near future, assistance in DJ'ing as it will be very time consuming to do it all myself. That.. is still to be approached though.
