I find it laughable how Torog sits back and talks about how everything's gonna be ok 'cause Bush is sending soliders into Iraq. If he got a letter asking him to go himself he'd probably pretend he never got it.

    Howdy Rooisme1,

So..your brother is in Iraq huh ? Is there anyway you can prove that ? I'd be willing to bet, that his views are probably 180 degrees opposite of yours, that he believes in Freedom for everyone-not just for himself. Telling me to shut up-dishonors the sacrifices of every soldier who ever fought for this country to preserve, protect and defend the freedom's that we all believe in and cherish.

Maybe some day-you'll grow up and realize just how blessed you truly are,and you won't take your Freedom for granted-nor will you dishonor and spit on those who took an oath, like me and your brother,to defend and protect your Freedom.

    Howdy Imotep,

Cheney has proven time and again, that he was no longer connected with Haliburton, when he began his duties as vice-president.

Also,Haliburton is excellent at what they do,I've worked with them on many a drilling rig, they are better at what they do,than any other of the companies in the countries that have contributd nothing to the war effort, and therefore deserve no participation in the rebuilding of Iraq.

As the cheese-eatin surrender monkeys say 'Au contrair, mon frere'...I called up my local recruiter back in the first Gulf war to re-enter the service so I could go over and help, but I was still recovering from surgery at the time-and didn't qualify..now I'm even more crippled and still want to go if I could..I believe that it's America's duty-to spread Freedom and Democracy-not to retreat from it like the cowardly Left.

    Hi Torog
I have a question for you, if ya don't mind answering. If Kerry wins and becomes our next presidend and he says, as our commander and chief, that north korea is a terrorist threat to democracy and has WMM, would you feel the same way towards them as you do toward iraq and want to wage war with them? thanks for your reply. have a great day torog

    Howdy hss,

Kerry believes that terrorism is a nuisance like prostitution and gambling,so I doubt if he'll take North Korea seriously in that regard.

The problem with North Korea is that the leadership needs to be toppled, before they attack South Korea,Japan or the US. Therefore I do support an aggressive stance towards them,as they pose both a regional threat and an international threat, like saddam's regime did in Iraq. If all negotiations fail and Kim Jong-il ,(sp,?),goes off the deep end and attacks South Korea-the situation may have to be contained with the use of nukes,in order to stop a massive advance by the DPRK south. We already have a missile shield deployed in the seas between Japan and North Korea, because they may attack Japan simultaneously.

Obviously, being in possession of nukes, make the DPRK a strategic threat to the US,and could result in the need for us to use a strategic nuclear response, rather than just a tactical deployment.
