first time grower all info needed.

i dont kno much so all info is welcome, if i got a tube light how much wattage would i need to start out or wut would be a type of light to get.

for flowering do i really need a 400 hps light or can i get away with less.

i need a lot more information so if u know something i should know, it will be appreciated.
