In order for the trichomes(thc) to be phsyco-active, they have to be completely dry correct? My buds did seem to be quite abit dry, and I have smoked some and it seems to be more of eye candy then it really is. It is harsh and curing will hopefully smooth it out some. I have learned alot and will use what I learned on next crop.

I origanally had 5 plants under 400w hps, fan blowing heat off bulb, fan blowing in room as well, 4 males and 1 female. She yielded me an ounce dry weight.

I didnt have the fan blowing directly on the buds when they were drying, I had it on the floor by my sink blowing hot air in. I wont use the heater next time. Hopefully that was my fuk up. I also heard that curing mainly takes away the harshness and lets it finish drying evenly. Also I will have to drop the nutes earlier than 7 days even after flushing. I might even buy a dehydrator and cure 1/3 of my buds that way next time. A grower out in CA I knew used that for curing. It worked fine after drying out.

I let my buds dry for 5 days, on the 3rd day of drying I used a portable heater for 3 hrs to raise my bathroom temp to about 85f and had a fan blowing heat into my drying room.(closet). I removed all the DRY buds, the ones where I could get a snap outta different part of the stem.I have about a 1/4 ounce in each curing jar and every 3-4 days I open the lids for about an hour or longer. My buds look so fuking sick for Rating: 5
