Yes, Les Pauls are very heavy. I find them too big and too hard to play.

My Fender S-65 is the same size and basically shape as the Epi SG, just a few minor changes, and it is light as fuck! I love it.

I'm even finding my Strat harder to play now for some reason. It's also a big bodied guitar.
