well i cant really help u with the is it gonna grow from the light of a window sill casue i dont know how many hours of sun and and night time it is down their but i can help u out with the mail and female thing. after ure plant has been growing for awhile, it will show signs of either a male (balls) or female (hairs). i dont know A real lot about like some of the experts but i know a good amount of cannabis growing knolege.
