They are just victims of government propaganda. Honestly, I don't blame them for spouting the government line. People should be able to believe their government and quote what they say with confidence. I withhold my blame for the government.

We need to reeducate people about the facts in a way that they will listen to. We need to force the government to tell the truth. This is already happening at ONDCP as they are discovering that when they lie to people then they lose their credibility. We need to force this more and more to get some kind of momentum.

Instead of trading insults there is a better way to get the misinformed. We need to put together a list of facts, with sources quoted, the same as we would put together a college report. When you can quote clinical trials and polititions it will leave them with nowhere to go. It is extremely difficult for even the most misinformed not to take a step back and realize "Hey, maybe I'm wrong and don't want to embarrass myself". Otherwise they will just continue in their beliefs and we will still be stuck where we are now 60 years from now.
