Legalization of Marijuana
I'd like to make a collaboration of all the reasons why marijuana should NOT be illegal in the united states of america.
please give any reasons not listed....mine are as follows:
the government system is obviously based on christianity (MOSTLY) even tho this is a religously free country....HOWEVER christians believe in God and that God created everything therefore...with the US being a religously free country how can they take what god has given to us?
ciagarettes and alcohol are both way worse than marijuana (im sure u all know why and how and all about it)
what are some of your reasons and views?Acouwaila Reviewed by Acouwaila on . The ONLY reason the government does not legalize it is because the cannot figure out how to tax it.
\"Prohibition . . . goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man\'s appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes . . . A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.\"

taxing might be easier than we think. an 1/8th a exotic bud costs $50 and that's what I pay right now. If it were legal, the prices would be drastically lower and the quality would be as high as it can be for competition sakes. I'm guessing the reason you don't think it's taxable because people would just grow their own? true but there's a bunch of lazy people out there that would rather just go buy some at the local marijuana store then grow their own.

Not only from everything you guys said but also over the counter meds are more dangerous than weed..wait weed isnt dangerous and just from my opinion i believe the goverment brings in most of the drugs to this country anyways cuz they do make profit off of people buying and selling drugs u jsut dont realize it...and i should know as being an ex military police officer we made a ton of manoey from drug dealers by doin drug bust and such.
Freedom isnt FREE....Some give all,all give some.

Weed is illegal today simply because of propaganda. you can blame taxation and bla bla bla, but this is a government of the people and people are easily swayed by propaganda.

It is illegal because hemp could if utilized would completely fuck the oil companies because it can be used very successfully as fuel (oil companies would lose money they wont like that would they) It would fuck the cotton industry because hemp is a much better fibre than cotton.
If hemp was used as a fuel for a cars then we wouldnt need 90% of the oil we use now!!!! The government couldnt really tax it because it is soo easy to grow anyone could do it. I dont know how to make it into a fuel but I am sure it wont be too hard.
So lets sum up. The majority of the population makes there own fuel to power there electricity and for the heating for there house. Also powers there car with the stuff.
ALSO why the fuck doesnt the whole planet be allowed to grow hemp. If its 0% THC then that is the only illegal part of mj anyway. Makes you wonder why hemp growing isnt be utilized. They you think who runs the world.
The fucking greediest people in the world.
