Wow what a day. me and my buddy were driving to pick up another friend. on the way to the show we smoked 3 bowls which got us nice and baked . We got to DTE when overkill was playing. we only saw half of thier set but they kicked ass. during their set the mosh pit on the lawn turned into a giant mud war. it's already on wikipedia "September 24, 2006 - "Mud Wars" Gigantour gets out of control when the everyone in the lawn started hurling clumps of grass, Dirt, and Mud at each other and into the Pavilion during the Over Kill set at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Detroit Michigan. DTE Security tried to stop the crazy crowd but the crowd turned on security and hurled the mud at the security. Security finally got control when they started ejecting people from the concert for throwing the mud."
then came on arch enemy followed by opeth. smoked another 2 joints. walked to the middle of the lawn and smoked 2 more joints :stoned: . Then we went down to the pavillion for lamb of god and megadeth. Security was gay about not smoking there so my friend passes me a joint and just as I exhale mr. security guard tells me there's no smoking and immediately shines his flashlight everywhere looking to find something. but he didn't.

I went last year at the montreal show.

The money was worth seeing good bands.

This year, megdaeth has changed 3 songs on the whole setlist and the other bands suck IMO. Instead I bought weed, RHCP tickets and IRON MAIDEN tickets.

After seeing megadeth twice, they NEVER change their setlist. the gigantour had the same songs from their previous blackmail the universe tour. Boring, so dissapointed.

Opeth and Lamb of god = great bands ruined by shitty vocals

overkill = can't get into their stuff

the other bands I don't care for.
