YES! I used to love the Ninja Turtles. I still have a at least 24 of their toy figures here. I have them even in their Samuri gear! That was badass. And the pizza thrower too!

i was the biggest turtle fan ever! i had about 90 some action figures, a bunch of cars, the sewer, plus all kinds of clothes, sheets, pajamas, curtains, etc. for like 5 years everything i got for my birthday, christmas, or easter was ninja turtles. i even still remember the last turtle i bought was some space man looking raphael where his fists shoot off. my parents got it for me when we went to the mall of america for family vacation one year. anyways, here are some pictures of my collection, or what i could find of it at my parents house, from last christmas i think. a lot of the stuff i couldn't get to because its so deep in the store room.

i watched it but if you are refering to the original cartoon it was teenage mutant hero turtles, the newer version is teenage mutant ninja turtles

Upon TMNT's first arrival in the United Kingdom, the name was changed to "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" (or TMHT, for short), since local censorship policies deemed the word ninja to have excessively violent connotations for a children's program.[2] Consequently, everything related to the Turtles had to be renamed before being released in the UK. The lyrics were also changed, such as changing "Splinter taught them to be ninja teens" to "Splinter taught them to be fighting teens."

The policies also had other effects, such as removing Michelangelo's nunchaku (which were at the time banned from appearing in even 18-rated movies) and generally toning down the usage of all the turtles' weapons. After many seasons of never using his nunchaku, they eventually disappeared entirely, replaced by a turtle shell shaped grappling hook called the "Turtle Line".

Sorry, I got you beat. I get lit and watch the old cartoons all the time. I have them on DVD I wish I still had all my figures though, I had almost all of them, and my mom made me sell them at a garage sell cause we moved when I was 13. I didn't still play with them or anything, but I still wanted to keep them for sentimental purposes.

I'm from the UK, and it was definately Hero Turtles before the new, color revamp of Ninja Turtles. I look at it as Hero = Older version and Ninja for new. May be wrong, cos this was certainly a few year back, but I am pretty sure it was Hero before Ninja.

No. Ninja was first. I had NINJA turtles action figures when I was 2. That was like 1988.

Yeah, I had NINJA turtles in the 80's as well. Maybe they were called the Hero Turtles in different countries...? Because I was a fan since day one, and Hero Turtles doesn't come to mind.

i put that it was hero turtles first because thats what it was in the uk, but as JuggaloAtTheDoor says it was renamed from ninja turtles to hero turtles just for the uk, so all you people in the us probably still had ninja turtles not hero turtles
