Why would you put someone's life in the hands of the state? I don't agree with the death penalty, and I don't agree with putting people in jail which then live out their days with no purpose. In my opinion the very worst thing you can do to someone, is lock them away in solitary confinment, for the rest of their days, and for a laugh gradually cut down on their food suppys until they starve to death, that way nature takes its course without blood being on the hands of anyone. If you kill someone you set them free.
