Some info, for those of you who are keeping up with the details of the thread (not just looking at the plant porno)

I don't think I posted about this earlier on the last page so I thought I'd add it in:

So far, by DAY 97 we have taken a few steps to try to bring the plants in the main flowering room back to life.

- The first thing we did was to add some epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) to try to address the possible Mg deficiency.

- Secondly, we upped the nutrient solution to 100% with a 1.4 EC with a little extra Awesome Blossom to address the Phosphorus deficiency and other possible deficiencies.

- Lastly, the hose from the pump in the resevoir leading to the planter (the one that fills the planter in our Ebb & Flow system) was kinked, and therefore nor working effieciently. I cut about 6" length off of the hose to allow it to drop straight down instead of having slack that created the kink when pressure was applied. Since slicing off all extra slack from the tube, it seems to work MUCH better!

Oooh, and one more thing...we had had a debate as whether we wanted to go ahead with the Ebb & Flow (a.k.a Flood & Drain) system for our Main Bloom Room or if we wanted to keep them on the drip system so we could avoid possible floods, etc...and so we would not have to use so much water and nutes.

We decided to go ahead with the Ebb & Flow and it has seemed to work very well. We simply flood and drain twice a day. I believe our timers are set to flood for 15 minutes, then turn off, allowing for the drain.

We dont even have our drip system hooked up anymore. we used it for the left side veg in the beginning, but now that we have only 3 plants in there (#10, #5, & #11a), we have been hand watering them. And since we are using E & F for the flowering room, we are using the same pump from before to pump into the E & F system. We are also using 2 airstones in the resevoir. Our clones up top, and our smaller rubbermaid bloom box are all being hand watered daily also.

Ok, this is the last thing...(I kinda got off on a little tangent up there^. All good info, tho, IMO) Since we decided on the Ebb & Flow system, we needed a MUCH LARGER resevoir to hold all of the water it wouldd take to fully fill that planter. The only one we had on hand was a clear 55L container with a non-clear lid. For the first week, we had no lid on the container, and the sides were clear. NOT a good idea for your res, from what I've read. SO, on DAY 97, we also put this kickass WIDE duct tape onto the sides (covered perfectly - damn you guys have gotta look into buying some of this stuff). So the sides are not letting light in anymore and I also cut some holes in the lid (for the hoses) so I could fit that on too. Good to go!

Ok, that's it for now. What do ya think?

Be cool.
