    2. I refuse to take cuttings from a plant in it's flower cycle, unless it is done as an experiment, and in that case I would take a top.
Do that!!! I'd be interested to see how well starting clones in flower straight off, or say within a week works out...

Yea, mang. Bagseed. Got some NL, BG, and different kickass Bagseed for later.

No I did not build the cooltube. We purchased it...then hooked it to tubing and a 265cfm squirrell fan. We have nowhere to lead the intake tube so we left it open. It also helps circulate air in the room. Look back. There are pictures...for sure.

We have not considered this. Hmm. Curious. That would be an interesting sight. There is not much room for it, but we could give it a go. Will keep you posted if we do that. Thanks for the idea, BlueBear.

Well, we knew we were going to be screwed when we let them veg that long. I tried to convince cohort to chop back then, but nothing doing. S'Ok. Now, they have stretched some, and we may be able to keep up with them, raising the light and such if they dont stretch TOO much more.

As far as the indica/sativa content, this is again, bagseed, so it was pretty much a crapshoot. We would love to have both, though, so we could have some variety. Thanks for the comment.

Do NOT let your plants stretch this high. LOL. Seriously. We have like almost half a meter of stretch at the bottom. Nice thick, strong stalks, but look like frickin' outdoor plants, eh?

Note: I will admit...I wanted to make clones out of all these cuttings but...

    1. We have no more room for them.

    RIP, little cuttings.

Well, if we do chop, and have room, I will do the experiment. Cuz I'm dying to know.

    ~DAY 104~

    Here are some veg PICS.

1 - Clones up top. Doing well. If we dont do somethin gabout them NOW, though, they're gonna freaking stretch like the last ones.

2 - Two of the clones have gotten too big and have been moved down. They are still getting SOME light from the sides. Meh.

3 - Veg Room. Currently includes clone shelf up top (with 7 plants, I believe), and veg area (2 clones, 3 "mothers") In the veg area are 2 LARGE plants (#5/#10) and one short LST plant (#11a).

    4 - Top shot of #11a.

5 - Height dilemma in veg area.

WE have a severe DILEMMA in our veg room. Our two mother plants (#5 and #10) are reaching the top of the veg area. We had discussed training them and flowering just the two of them in our main flowering area once it is vacant. We are saying this because of the success that we have had LSTing our #11a. We want to make "Bonsai Moms" and NOT have these ridiculously tall stretched Mamas. They are nice plants, however and have a crapload of branches. If only I could plant them outside. Alas, that is not possible.

My plan...(this is where I really need your opinion)

I will top the two large plants in the vegetative area, root and grow these tops into short, bushy mothers. Possibly take one or two more clones from the tall plants....

    ...then...

scrap the tall plant. I know it sounds terrible, but we just have nowhere to put them. This will also give us lotsa room downstairs to move our clones that we have up top.

SPACE management is a huge issue here. Let me know what your ideas are. What should we do??

I know this was a little hurried and maybe a little piecemeal, but I'm in a hurry to leave so I will look forward to reading your replies when I return to the PC in a few hours. Please let me know what you think.

I also have a bunch of SEXY f*cking budshots from our Rubbermaid Bloom Box. I will post those pics later.

    Peace, homies. :rasta: :rasta:

    Hmmm, I don't understand?

If you've got that many clones lying around, why not practice refridging and storing a couple?

You probably can, just not in one go.

I was just saying that we don't have much/any room left to do anything with any cuttings. Maybe we WILL try the fridge storing thing. Hmm. Experimentation, Dr. Jekyll?

Yes, we might do that...but that still leaves me the dilemma in my veg room.

QUICKLY, now. What should we do with the tall towering monsters of Mothers that we have in our veg area??

If we were to LST them, there is no way they would possibly fit in the veg area...

We need room to put the clones from up top...

If we top them, we can control the topped plants more easily...

'MY' idea...is to top the 2 big plants, along with maybe 1 or 2 more clones each. Then, scrap the entire HUGE delicious plant. This is a very sad day.

    ANY OTHER IDEAS??

First I'd just like to say that I really enjoy reading your posts... you're very enthusiastic and remind me of one of my college proffs... who drinks waaay too much coffee! Got a question and a suggestion...

So i have this friend who has a friend etc. who has a new ballist w/ 250w agrosun bulb (little more than 20,000 lumens). About how much grow area would this light provide? How many plants?

Also about your stretching problem... I dont have any genious LST or screening (dunno wat screening even means) ideas but would it kill you to just move the shelf the plants are sitting on down a little or remove it? May sound like a "newbie" suggestion but just seemed like the obvious solution to me.

    Much love- DB

    LOL, Dank. Thanks, I guess.

I am not a light expert by any means, but I would say that, depending on how much aread the thing covers, you could probably flower a good 2 to 3 plants under that ligh. Two to be on the safe side. You could veg more than that. Depends on whether you (I mean your friend) have a separate veg cab or are doing all in one cab.

Screening is SCRoGing. (Screen of Green) I always tell people to look up justaseed's thread "lovely ladies" in the search function to see a perfect example of SCRoGing. I dont think I can do that now...and well, I had a horrible mishap trying to envision it (will explain more later about the mishap - it's horrible, though).

I can't move the shelf down without chopping stuff up. Go to the first page to see the build set up. The shelf is complete all the way across. Oh how I would love to move it down. Alas, that is not possible. We shall find a way. thanks for the comment.

    Much love :rasta:
