Yea, I hear ya. I love pics. Especially for all these people who DONT READ before they post seeminly-absurd questions and comments. :cursing: No, but really, everyone loves pics, as I do, and I'm happy to share them. Plus, they can show people somewhat what they have to expect in each stage of their grow, visually. I just hope they are appreciated, cuz I might have carpal-tunnel after finishing this thread! lol
I love everyone.

Well, as of now. I only have the rubbermaid grow cab going in "flower." The temps in there stay a cool 27C/80F.
I have 4 flourescent lights with one very small space fan taped into a hole for exhaust and 6 holes (1/2" I think) for passive intake (3 on either side at the bottom). It works like a charm. I am currently using it only for my sexing cab, but now that it has served its purpose,
I am debating whether to use it to grow those "test-clones" to maturity or just toss 'em and scrog on nice plant in there. It is a very nice little cab. It could be done the same way with a wooden cabinet-type cab.
Mylar the sides, put an exhaust fan (or 2), stick in some CFLs (I use 24w full spectrum bulbs, which are extremely cool compared to the 42w ones), poke some intake holes, and you're done. Timer and temp gauges, a must. KISS for sure. Simple as pie. Seems small for my grow...but for 1 or 2 small plants, it may be enough for a full cycle.
Ok...well, temps are very stable and cool. That's the answer to your question. Lol Ambient is about 76, cab goes to 80.
:rasta:...seriously.

I kind of wish I didn't start with so many plants, but I had to be sure I'd get enough females, and hey, it was just bagseed anyway. What's a couple of seeds?! Well, now I'm outta room! LOL
Will post more pics tmw for sure. keep checkin' in!
Be cool.

Well, guys, it's a new day, and time for some new fun. Well, new day in for me at least. Still on the same DAY 79 in the grow though. I have so many damn pictures (about 150 just for DAY 79
) that it takes me a long time to post them all!
But first, GK & Invision had mentioned the rockwool oddity part of my grow, which I really dont find that odd, but I guess it is not the must orthodox way to do a grow. There are of course positives and negatives to growing soley in a rockwool substrate.
Positives:
Easy to move/adjust plants.
Rockwool holds almost the perfect amount of water. It is difficult to overwater them. I read somewhere that said they hold 18% air at all times. I dont know if this is true, but I "dont think" I've had any overwatering problems. They are easy to check to see if they are moist: light = dry & heavy/squishy = wet!
Very clean. No messing with overflowing NFT/DWC systems or messy soil. Now I'm not bunking soil in the least. I would love to do a soil grow and use organics, but for practical reasons, rockwool is better (cleaner).
Negatives:
It is not soil. It is made from pulverized and spun fibers of...ROCK. Mainly basalt. Someone likened it to making cotton candy out of rock.
Rock has a higher pH than some, therefore I have to adjust the pH of the water lower than I would usually to account for the increase in pH in the runoff.
Susceptible to mold. If you look in some of my pictures, I have mold growing on almost every one of my rockwool cubes. I was first noticing white salt build ups (which might be another negative) but then came the brown mold. Ewww. I assume this will appear anywhere you have high humidity, light and air. One must cover one's rockwool - imperative.
^^^However, the mold has not seemed to affect the plants' growth. Odd.
So this is my take on rockwool. I'm sure it's not fully comprehensive, but it is what I could think of off the top of my head.
(looong pause)
I started this damn post like 3 or 4 hours ago. I've been SO busy!!! I'm just gonna post it now so I dont lose it. And cuz I've lost my train of thought.
Little stressed...would love some destresser medicine.:rasta:

Weeeelll, then. I guess no one has any comments on the rockwool post. Hmmm. Did I waste my time? I hate doing that. :upsidedow
Meh, well. Maybe you are all just not there right now. Maybe I'll go start a thread with it or something...or add it to that rockwool thread I've seen here.
ANYWAY, it's that time again. Pics, pics and more pics. I hope you like the way I've done things.

Ok, well, I've gotten rid of about 5 plants or so. 2 big ones (#7 & #3) and a few smaller ones too. All were male, of course. I still have 3 plants of which I am not sure of the sex, but they have clones in the process of being flowered for sex, hot sex. lol I kill myself...no but seriously.
In my left side veg,
I have chosen PLANT #5 as my "Mamacita" plant. That's Motherplant for those of you who were stoned in Spanish class. It is by far the branchiest, best looking plant of the bunch. I was really hoping it was female so it could become my mother. It was behind for a while (probably just behind those aggressive males) but it caught up and surpassed most in quality of branches, etc.
I have PLANT #11, which is a nice, stocky little plant that I grew from a top of my original #11. The original #11 was pretty f**ked up. It was burned, and just basically "runty." When I took the top, the top grew SO NICELY, that I separated it from the other clones and grew it down in the veg area. When it was time to sex my test-clones, I couldnt bear to put it in, so that is one of the reasons why I missed 3 plants. That was one of them. It has NO stretching at the bottom, which I love, and it is just overall nice looking. I did top it...not sure if I did that before or after this pic, I'll have to go back and look.
PLANT #10 is also being kept in the left side veg area. It is a nice, branchy plant with lot of internodes, but I do not know the sex of it yet.
In my right side "flower" room,
I have numbers 12, 1, 2, ...oh crap I forgot. Again, hafta go back and look. I have so many meter-tall plants, that I cant keep them all as mothers, and I really dont need to clone that much, cuz sh*t, I just dont have anymore room!
I know I have already ditched plants #3, #7, #8, and #12.
I did not fully throw 12 away, because I didnt know its sex. I just knew it was stretched as hell and had very little internodes, and I have no room. SO, I topped it, and cloned it and then "threw away" the 3' part.
Wow, its hard for me to keep up with them all!
Will type more in the next post.

Ok, well, apparently I didnt include a pic of my Mamacita or even my left side veg room. Hmmm. Well, here are a few pics of Mambo #5, my motherplant.
(angels sing)
I obviously potted her. Took off the white plastic around the cube, and potted her in hydroton. Hope she's happy in her new home.
Will post the left-side veg pics in the next post...I think.
Cdot, meet Mambo #5.
