If you can keep the temps down, I say go with the 600W. Mix the soil so it drains well. You don't want poor draining soil. I have a 400W switchable ballast, but I don't know which way is better. You may want to start painting that room FLAT white if you're not planning on using a grow box.

It will be jusy like a walk in closet in a back bed room with only him living there. I cant decide if I should use a 600w or 400w. After that I cant decide if I should go with a digital switchable ballast or go with the conversion bulbs?? Also what is the smartest way in soil.
