    Alright, I give...

since I can't seem to buy the stuff, I guess I have to start growing it. I am reading around a bunch of threads right now...but can I ask a few quick questions?

Where do I buy the seeds? (I live in Canada, would prefer to buy from Canadian - simply to avoid any customs headaches)

What do I absolutely NEED? A friend of mine works at a Grow place - where she grows cacti and things of that nature - NOT the type of friend I could go to with this issue, but I could go to her for some basic supplies.

How long will it take (yes, I am impatient)

    Thanks in advance...
    ~Andrea

well growing herb is a very long process takes up to 6 months of proper care and undertaking before the final smoke is ready think about that and read the FAQ before trying you will waste your time.

you need a fan, lights (hps or CLF) , grow medium, reflective material, pots, exhaust fan, timer, and most important a place to grow it, it can be a box or your closet the more space the more light needed the more light the more fans it can get complicated or easy depending on your budget.

yeah he hit it pretty much on the head. I would recomend reading the FAQ until you are falling asleep at the pc, you are going to see a lot of duplicate information but thats good cuz it burns that shit in your brain. Most of all you need to be patient as invision said. Growing can be the most rewarding hobby you will ever have but it can also be the most frustrating. Ill tell you I am on my first grow and I have had to put myself in check once in a while cuz I just get too damned excited but that first time you open the door to your grow and the light comes screaming out at you along with that wonderful stickyicky smell you will never be able to stop. Good luck and keep posting progress reports/pics if possible!!!

Get a dual spectrum 400W bulb and fixture and grow in soil. Thats easy and enough light for a good yeild.

Thank you very much, Cyclonite. I will be discussing these options with my friend today and we will decide if it's something we would like to try.

I think clones are small plants, or pieces of plants...I think. I don't know anyone who grows, so I would be SOL in that dept. I wish it was legal to just buy the shite online! I buy everything else online...lmao

    well.
I guess when u r using clones, u r usually know what sex plant is. and we all know, that in this situation chicks rule! LMAo
when I started from seedling my first time, it turned out, that 5 out of 6 were females. last time I started from seedlings, 2 out of 5 were females... so theres slight chance, that (when u start from seedlings) u gonna waste over 2 moths to realize that all plants u have are males...
