    3 bagseeds, 3 females.

my plants grew super fast over night and 2 of them grew into the light and burnt the tops. so i topped the plants and they looked fine but it happened again only not as bad. As long as it dont happen again they shouldnt hermie should they?

no, the only way they should hermie is if there is light leaks during flowering, or a not constant cycle of lights during flowering. i think.

That SHOULD not cause them to "hermify"...lol...yet it has been said that some plants just turn hermie if you look at them the wrong way. Some genetics are just stabler than others.

Is the reason you are worried because you don't have any more room to move the lights up? That could be a problem depending on how far along you are in the flowering process. The will grow more...and if your light is very hot (I don't know if you mentioned what kind of light you were using), then they will get burnt.

If you have horizontal room, try scrogging or LSTing your plants horizontal to maximize that space while you avoid growing up. GOOD LUCK! Post pics of your 3 lovely ladies, please

im using cfls so i need to keep the lights at least within 5 or 6 inches but sometimes i dont account good enought for the plant bending back up after LSTing and it was touching the light and just burnt the new growth so i topped.

I cant check them very often so i have to put lights higher then i would like but watever. as long as they wont hermie.

no my plants are the opposite of strechted they are so compact that there is about 4 inches max between any nodes and i usually have lights about 3 inches above tops

Well, four inches between nodes is not really considered compact. So they might be stretching more than you think. It's really kind of hard to work with CFLs and regular flouros if you are not there to keep them very close and move them daily. If you're using HID (HPS or MH) you can prevent that somewhat.
