Most people use more lighting cause they like to waste money and electricity. You should be fine with one light

Seriously.....COME ON, what do you think? 42 Watts
You should be able to pull a joint out of it in about 4 months

Yea, one thing you'll find after reading countless FAQs and watching a plethora of videos on the subject is that LIGHT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT TO GROW MARIJUANA... Unfortunately, it is also the most expensive component also. You can start with SEVERAL flouros but you will eventually make your way up to the higher end stuff if you really want good results for your efforts. Look at it this way, tho. When that time comes, you will have a bunch of energy efficent lights to replace all of your incandescents! 75% savings!

what other lights could i grow?

home depot or simalar stores sell 70 watt hps light for faily cheap.you will get more off one plant and that light than you will off 3 or 4 plants and a few cfls(compact florecents)in a small setup i would still use cfls though(due to heat).just alot of them.80 or more watts per square foot.hope that helps.

well cuz i seriously want a good plant but my ma is like I know how to grow i used to grow back in the day...she really did and her plants went over 8 foot so should i let her do it?
