Good info. Heat buildup and ventilation would have been my next question being that the room is pretty much sealed. It's hidden so well that my brother couldnt find how to get into it even though he knew it was there somewhere. Right now all I have in there is a phototron. (Ok everyone, stop laughing) It has served me well for over 10 years and saved me lots of money.
So now I'll start looking at air cooled 1000 watts and work on the ventilation system.

dsm711 Reviewed by dsm711 on . 600 watt vs 1000 in 5x6x10 I am finally able to have a grow room. ( Kids finally moved out) I'm thinking of using a Waterfarm 8 module drip system. Being that the room is only 5' wide, would a 1000 watt hortilux bulb be overkill or would a 600 watt be sufficient. The prices are about the same from what I see. Thanks for the help Rating: 5
