Lol, i dont need to do my homework, concidering i've been growing pot for more than half my life, well over half.

Do as you like, you'll never know will you unless you try it.

IF you have a sealed grow room the plant, during the DARK 6 hours, will make Co2. Carbondioxide is used by the plant when the light is ON, and the plant will then make oxygen. If you use the 18/6 time period your grow room will fill with a albeit small amount of Co2, which helps the plant while it photosynthesises.
