It's a double whammy on me when the disorder shifted into a type of lukemia and I was in searious pain all the time, I'm talking 10 or more loritabs, some valium, blood thinners and many percocets a day! I went to get my card because my DR said no more pain killers since it was making my liver enlarge. The first time they told me I didn't qualify. I was bummed. My neighbors girlfriend was giggling over how she got her card when she told them she had painful periods. It made me feel so bitter. Luckilly they got all my records squared away and now I have my medical. I wonder why it's so hard for some to obtain theirs and so easy for others?
Thats horrible. I simply had to make the appointment with the "special doctor"(not even needed), pay the 150$ for the visit, fill out some forms, show him my med records(past and present prescriptions), talked to him a little bit about my disorders and the use of cannabis, signed some papers, and I had my recc. I became legal in California.
