Actually, 3.5 grams is an 1/8 of a TROY ounce, which is what buds are measured in. The other type of ounce is Avoirdupois.

I don't believe buds are measured in TROY ounces...

read that, "A troy ounce (abbreviation: t oz) is equal to 480 grains. There are 12 troy ounces in a troy pound. Consequently, the international troy ounce is equal to about 31.103 476 grams."

this is what bud is measured in... just so people don't get mis-informed...

so if we want to get down to it, 3.5 g's technically is not an eigth...
