returning to veg while already in flower?
I bought a NYC sour D. clone and wasn't able to get her indoors, needless to say she already started flowering and has been in flower for about 3 weeks.
I want to reveg her, but figure it would take over a month just to get her to revert. Any advice?ABNINF420 Reviewed by ABNINF420 on . returning to veg while already in flower? I would say you have one of two options .... take some clones from the lower part of the plant and let her continue to flower .... or .... put her back under 18 hour light and take the hit of the month of reveg.
I'm sure some of the advance grower will have better suggestions.

I would try to take some clones from her rather than reveg her at this point, unless you want to wait untill you have harvested her after flower time is over, but then it will take some babying in order to get her to be a mother for you if that is your goal. If you want to reflower her again she will probably yield under half as much as the first time and you will have to wait a couple months for that.
Hope this helps some

No, it is not a good idea to switch back to veg. while already in flowering. That stresses the plant out and there is a high risk for it turning out hermi. Once it turns hermi and the female gets self pollinated, the THC production stops and the seeds start growing.
Even taking clones now will cut down your yeild and slightly stress out the plant. Your plant needs all the foliage it can get right now as it is using the energy from the fan leaves to put inot the buds.
I suggest just letting it flower and not take the risk, and if you do take that risk, take a cutting/clone then swict hback. That way, you don't risk losing the entire plant.
Good luck.

That's too bad about the small plant.
I've tried NYCD but not "sour"...but hey mine was kinda sour...maybe that was it.
Post pics of the plant if you can.

I agree with chowder, but if she is only a few inches tall, I would snip a couple of clones...
