    muscle control

Sometimes after about thirty minutes after i light up i cant control my muscles right. this has happened after just a joint and happened when i have smoked more than that. So i dont think it is from smoking to much or whatnot. It is like normal how I just want to sit down and vegitate, my muscles just like do different things than i tell them to. How sometimes you might think you said "I made a mistake" but the people around you will swear you said "lets go skate", Because that is what you really said. That is kind of how this is I will tell myself to move my arm right and it goes left. Is it normal? I have only been smoking for two months but ive been around people doing it for most of my life and they have acted funny, but I havnt noticed anything like this.

Lots of people on here have talked about this side effect--twitching or slight loss of muscle control after weed. it happens, but i don't know what it means. Only that some people experience it.

thank you for the reply, have you heard if it could be linked to some other disorder? I have foundt hat it helps my bi-polar and sleep anemia. I am a little more paranoid when i am high but that doesnt bother me much. I just hope it isnt a link to some serious mental disorder. They run in my family pretty bad im lucky to just have what i have right now.

the twitching and loss of muscle control? Is that the part you're asking about whether it's possibly related to some other disorder?

It certainly can be related to medicines at times. If you're medicated for bi-polar, you're probably taking some sort of neuro-active medicine for that, right? Some of those can cause the same symptom. Let me look something up and tell you more if I can find out more.

Whether the loss of muscle control is pssoble related to some other disorder.

I dont take medication for it because i enjoy the old saying *if you ignore it it isnt there*. So it isnt any other medication interferring with it. Lots of mental disorders run in my family, schitzophrenia, pshychosis, bi-polar, paranoia, insomnia allsheimers(spelling?). Most of my family also has an addictive personality to. I am just hoping that it isnt linked to something like that.

Well, unless you're actually medically addicted to some substance and coming off it, it's unlikely that the loss of muscle control is related to just a genetic history of addiction. Twitching and muscle control loss are common addiction withdrawal symptoms, though.

You said you have sleep apnea, right? Is that what you meant by sleep anemia? You have periods where you don't breathe at night and use one of those airway devices? People with untreated or incorrectly treated sleep apnea can twitch and have muscle control problems if their oxygen levels are too low.

Just want to make sure on this. Other than weed, you don't take any sort of prescription medicine, street drug, or herbal supplement, right? If you take anything at all, even a vitamin, let me know.

And you don't have diabetes, do you?

Yes, sleep apnea, it was late when i was writing that lol. I also have asthma but it doesnt seem to get worse when i smoke. ADHD runs in my family but i dont think i have it. My sister does but im a really laid back person and i can pay attention real well so none of my teachers or docters have ever suggested i had it.
