    Brownies vs. Hash....

Well, although I don't knkow much about making hash, if you really have a good 1/4 - 1/2 ounce worth of good plant material, go with cannabutter. THC is fat-soluble, so this seems the best way of cooking it. All you need is a good amount of real butter (NOT margarine or anything substituted for butter...it doesn't work well) as well as your bud. And a stove. And probably a kitchen too...okay so maybe that's not ALL you need, but it's the only ingredients needed for cannabutter. I'd say you would need about two sticks of butter for every 1/4 ounce you have (someone else here can correct me if that seems wrong). There's a certain temperature range you have to simmer the butter with the cannabis in order to extract the THC; get it too hot and you will burn up all of your THC. On conventional stove tops, I wouldn't go above a medium setting (and would reccommend letting it simmer on medium-low setting for a few hours, until the butter turns a greenish color. Be sure to stir often as well so that it doesn't sit in the bottom of the pan and burn up. Strain the plant material out of the buttery goop after you are done cooking it and use the buttery goop you strained in the brownie mix. From what I have heard, cannabutter is VERY potent..I've never tried it myself. Eat a few of these though and you won't be doing much of anything for 6+ hours .

Go with the brownies, man. Expecially if you've never had weed food before.
