I doubt he's pissed off because I think he would have yelled at you right then for doing it. I hope it'll be okay though.
My dad did the exact thing, asked me if what thing (referring to my bong) was in my room. Asked me if I could control it and why I did it. Then the conversation ended. I thought he was going to kill me. Then he admitted to trying it himself in the Vietnam army.
