i dunno if swallowing the smoke rlly has any adverse affect since u have the mucus covering the inside of ur stomach lining (to protect from the acid) so any smoke would just get caught in that and not become a problem.... i think if ur stomach can handle acid i think it can handle some smoke

Swallowing doesn't put shit in your lungs. You just swallow into your gut. Prolly make you a little gassy but thats aobut it. You never heard of someone at thanksgiving walking away with belt undone because they swallowed too much shit into thier lungs. Besides, holding your hit in doesn't do shit. Just makes you dizzy and kills a few brain cells. Inhale, savor the taste and exhale. Don't hit it, hold it forever and blow out as you gasp for air.

You guys are all too HARSH, me thinks! Well, that or you guys are just getting too intense about something so small as just swallowing smoke.

I mean, yeah, the kid's friend is wrong about swallowing the smoke making you more high. BUT, I also swallow because it makes the urge to cough dissipate a bit. It soothes the throat a bit, getting it moisturized with saliva!! I don't swallow the SMOKE, I just swallow after taking a hit. Allows me to keep my hit in longer.

Plus, I think, inevitably, everyone swallows smoke, or at least has. I'm pretty sure all you guys have all of a sudden burped of smoke and, in your dazed, ripped state just went, "Oh, man. Look, I just burped up smoke!" haha
