Indoor vs Outdoor growing
I knw i`ll prolly get flamed but here goes, if everyone had the chance to grow outside then their yeild would be higher, correct ? I`m just keen to get the best out of my first grow i have a perfect secluded garden and can pot some plants no problem, i would get better results would`nt i ?
I know the seasons are all wrong but for next year as i dont have a green house i`d do best to put them out during the flowering eh?
Thanks all in advance.gunge9 Reviewed by gunge9 on . Outdoor plants can get much bigger than indoor plants. However, they are also more vulnerable to pests, disease, mold and being pollinated by nearby males (nearby being within a couple of miles). You have total control of the environment indoors; you sacrifice that control outdoors, but then you also have some chance of a really big yield too. Outdoors is a gamble with the environment, so if you like to gamble, give it a shot. If you like reliability and control, I think indoors is better.

you can grow indoors and get just as good as results if not better but it takes a lot of light and a good setup to do it, in general most would probably do better outdoors however there is alot to worry about pest isnt that big of one, mold can usually be controlled by using strains that are more appropiate for your climate dont really expect any pollination or very few seeds if there isnt any male plants within a few hundred yards.
the biggest reasons why outdoors isnt that great is it can get stolen or if illegal in your area to cultivate can be spotted and possibly get you in trouble with the law.

If you have a good place and can spend the time to take verygood care of your outdoor plants I would go that way if possible. Last summer I did 5-6 plants outside and cleared a pound each and am smoking on the last container now from a year ago.

There are advantages and disadvantages with both outdoor and indoor growing.
Though I have never grown outdoor I know people that do and they get a very big yield .... their biggest problem however was people stealing their plants right before harvest. Also a friend of mine lost his plants to a woodchuck. He told me you can put human piss round the plant and it will keep deers and such away, but not woodchucks and they do a lot of damage.
I grow indoor and have been doing it for eight years now. The big disadvantage is you can't get as big a yield per plant as you can outdoors. But as the other posted stated you have control and if you make sure your garden is not discovered you will not have to worry about the law.
If I could grow outside without fear of the law or thieves I would because I like sativa's .... they do the best outdoors. However they do make pretty of excellent strains that do well indoors.
There are many indoor growers that do a fantastic grow job and gets very high yields.
.... and that's my two cents ....
