strange theory for gettin fruitier buds

hey y,all i dunno if this will work jus wanna know if its been tried
as you know ferts can change the way the bud tastes if u dont flush right?
but what about tryin to add flavour to it say by adding some kind of squash/juice/cordial to the water
would this give it more fruity flavour???
or would it do the plant harm???
as the ingredients to squash an cordial are generally natural anyway i dnt know if it would harm the plants
say if you added blackcurrent juice to the water would it give the plants say a blackcurrent flavour

i know you can get sugar and stuff to add to make em sweeter

by the way i dont really intend to try this its jus a thought as to wether it wouls work or not

i have seen other threads about this.. well i have not tried it yet... i dont plan on trying it either.. as i have heard of lots of peps fuckin up there buds tryin to flavor it.. im not sayin it cant be done.. im sure it can jus i aint chancing it.. i have smoked so many fruity strains.. blueberry.. lemons pineapple .. list goes on.. just find a fruity strain and BINGO u have lemons berrys n what not.. im doin blueberry next grow.. i cant wait.. let there be berrys

No, you cannot water with pineapple juice to get pineapple buds.

The plant is going to make the same mix of volatile organic compounds no matter what you feed it, you can just affect how MUCH of those it makes by giving it sugar and acarb-synthesis supplement.

The roots can't take in those complex carbon compounds responsible for flavor. They can just absorb SIMPLE SUGARS ( you can feed molasses, cane juice, etc.) and synthesize other coumpounds from them.

someone, i dont remember who told me to add a tincture of vanilla extract to my resivoir about 2 to 3 days before harvest

I've seen a few references over the years about flushing plants at the end with different types of citrus juices and such, I think the Cannabis grow Bible has it in it if I remember correctly, but if you go to Mininova.org or thepiratebay you can actually download a Torrent with all PDF versions of 6 or 7 different growbooks, and trust me they help alot!

To make your buds taste fruity you can cure them with a small piece off orange peel or lemon peel. Just put a piece of peel into your jar with your buds and cure them as normal. you can also do the same with say fresh mint or basil or what ever flavour you like even a small piece of vannila pod.
To be honest I dunno why people want to change the taste of there bud unless they where not flushed or if they used chemical ferts.
Its not for me, but there ya go.
