No. I think the reason weed causes paranoia in people is simply because it is against the law, and when people do illegal shit they sometimes get paranoid that they're gonna get caught. I don't get paranoid unless I think there's a reason I might get caught, in which case I think the paranoia is entirely rational and might be better termed "freaked the fuck out by the armed thugs who roam the streets and have an obsession with stealing cannabis and locking up possessors of cannabis in cages".

it depends. sometimes i'll get paranoid but when I have a reason to be, like if I'm driving I'm always on guard making sure i'm driving good and looking out for cops. but if i'm at home toking and have nothing to worry about then no. i call it mild paranoia, it's not like i'm looking over my shoulder wondering if some one's after me or anything.

yea once i realized that being paranoid will make me do stupid shit i am more calculating and cool about situations so i make better decisions

all the years of smoking, i still get paranoid. last night i went for a walk to a park near home and smoked about 3 joints on the way. i was only going to piss in the grass and turn around to go home when i thought i heard people all around me, stoned as fuck, and i actually stopped pissing midstream, all paranoid and looking around everywhere.
i didnt know you actually could stop once you start.

I find that my paranoia, which occurs occasionally, lessens the more I smoke..Hmn, that's actually kind of ideal.

Of course it does, the only way it wouldn't is to build up a tolerance to it and therefore not get the full effect.

Try quitting for a week and then smoke a very large amount. You will get paranoid at least a little, I will guarentee it because of the proof i see in every toker ive ever met in my life.

If you don't then congrats, you're an addict, and yes weed is addictive. If you say it isn't then you are truly a 'noob' because whether its psychologically addicting or physically addicting ITS STILL ADDICTING!

I dont mean to be a 'know it all' but addiction is defined as a habit that one pursues both mentally and consciously or not.
