that was asking about a vb fourm that allows more than 5 min for editing, clubcivic.com, after 500 posts " havent read the rules in a while" but you can edit all your posts any time you want. :smokin: just thought id share sence you asked.

cool okay so you've proven that the forum software can support editing times of more than 5 minutes...for one the content of that site is slightly different.. and to be frank you're talking about a very different flavour of forum..
The moderating issues outway any benefits of allowing people to moderate posts after five minutes.
Our uncle Leo doesn't care much for GoodYear's... if you get my meaning.
I'm quite happy keeping it at 5 minutes...to be honest it's far more practical with a website of this nature.
